How it works
Four steps from setting up your account to reading a candidate's result. No installs, no proctor to book, nothing for the candidate to download.
- 01
Create your company account
Register with your work email and company name. We review new accounts by hand, then switch yours on. Your dashboard is separate from every other company on the service.
- 02
Issue an access code
Create a code for a role or a single candidate. Choose when it expires, how many people may use it, and the score a candidate must reach to continue to the behavioural stage. Switch a code off at any time.
- 03
The candidate takes the test
They open the candidate page, enter the code, confirm who they are and agree not to use notes, phones, calculators or AI help. Then 50 questions in 12 minutes, submitted automatically when time runs out. Clear the threshold and the untimed behavioural questionnaire follows straight away.
- 04
Review the scorecard
The result appears on your dashboard within seconds of submission. Compare candidates, flag anything you want a second look at, and remove a candidate's record whenever you choose.
What a scorecard shows
- Score
- Out of 50, with a breakdown by verbal, numerical, logical and spatial reasoning.
- Pass or fail
- Measured against the threshold you set on the access code.
- Behavioural profile
- Four-factor forced-choice results for candidates who reached the second stage.
- Integrity signals
- Time spent on each question, answers changed, blocked copy and paste attempts, and time spent away from the test window.
Common questions
How long does the aptitude test take?
Twelve minutes. The candidate answers up to 50 questions in that time, and the test submits itself the moment the clock runs out.
What does the test measure?
General learning ability, made up of verbal, numerical, logical and spatial reasoning — how quickly someone picks up a new job rather than what they already know.
Does every candidate get the same questions?
No. Each sitting draws a fresh mix of easy, medium and hard questions from an original bank, and the answer options are shuffled.
Do candidates need to install anything?
No. They open a link in any browser on a phone, tablet or computer and enter the access code you sent them.
How do you stop candidates cheating?
Each candidate signs an attestation not to use notes, phones, calculators or AI help, copy and paste is blocked, and each attempt records time per question, answer changes, paste attempts and time spent away from the test window.
Can two employers see each other's candidates?
No. Each company sees only the candidates who used its own codes, and nobody else — including our own service team — can open your candidate reports.
What does it cost?
Plans start at $79 a month for 15 candidates, $199 for 50 and $449 for 150, with a one-off $149 pack of 25 candidates for seasonal hiring. Every new company starts with a free 30-day trial — no card required. See the pricing page for the full list.
